I'm in Canada. Canadians have been watching Brexit closely and watching the States - frankly with horror- and it does feel a bit like our two closest international partners are losing their damn minds.

I've been watching Scotland, particularly. Brexit coming so soon after their "nay" independence vote must have stoked some pro-EU/anti-UK sentiments. If I were in the same boat I would feel fairly betrayed, a bit like tripping over a rug and steadying yourself only to have the rug pulled from under you.

    Just one observer's opinion.

I'd take dessert Island over beer, 100%. I also don't drink. My dessert Island dessert is probably either butter tarts or birthday cake.

I have about ten little tasks to do at work that came to mind first. At my job we handle very, very difficult subject matter on a daily basis, and add to that the pressures of deadlines and project requirements. We do our best to balance work and self-care, but it's difficult in our field.

So I'm going to say I want to accomplish those tasks that need doing at my job, and to do them well. But also, laundry.

Tokaido is a very relaxing, low-stakes, easy to understand game for beginners or for seasoned gamers. You may also enjoy Muse or Sagrada, which focus more on art and creating things.

I started watching it after giving up on Kimmy Schmidt 3 episodes in to the new season, so it probably seemed much better in comparison. It's not the same as the original run, but it never could be.

I'm passionate about story telling, words, and language (or languages, since I do know a couple). I majored in literature and apply the knowledge to not only books, but to television, films, even to real life narratives. I like to pick apart the words that people choose, and see how they expose how they feel about certain things or what they really think behind their own rhetoric.

It's only one small thing, but I haven't used a plastic water bottle in almost a year, and in 2017 I used a total of 2. I have a couple reusable cups & bottles that I keep around in case I need them. It's just one small thing, but it becomes habit. And if everyone did one small thing (or two!) it would make a big difference!
