    Man, I love the Avatar universe, but at this point I have no trust that any media will even begin to scratch the itch that The Last Airbender left. No matter that the "original creators" are...

    Man, I love the Avatar universe, but at this point I have no trust that any media will even begin to scratch the itch that The Last Airbender left. No matter that the "original creators" are involved, I think that if they had more good ideas they would be out there already. This feels a little money-grabby, to me at least.

    Not sure if this should go in ~tv with other Airbender announcements, ~movies since they're billed as such, or ~anime, because sparkling cartoon. Rumors Rumor is that the first film centers around...

    Not sure if this should go in ~tv with other Airbender announcements, ~movies since they're billed as such, or ~anime, because sparkling cartoon.

    Rumors Rumor is that the first film centers around Zuko, another says it's a Fire Nation prequel, so either of those could be interesting. Hoping we explore the world of Avatar rather than the Gaang and friends, but it seems to be working for Star Wars.

    According to Avatar News, (https://avatarnews.co/post/687354302251073536/paramount-and-avatar-studios-slate-of-animated) the three movies will be focusing around Kyoshi, Zuko post ALTA, and Korra post TLOK. There are rumorier rumors that they're may be an animated series as well, but there's probably some wishful thinking going on too.
