I'm not sure what's up with the treatment of World War I as if it's the first time the reader has ever heard of it and there's not enough time to go into any detail, but imo this is a pretty useful piece.
The conversation around this show (not including the representation debate with wrt autism) sometimes paints it as being nostalgic and traditional in a manner that might be taken as disempowering, but this pushes back against that a bit.
