Crunchyroll and Funimation are the Coke and Pepsi of the anime streaming world, having them in one place means they have license to stream pretty much every current or archive show that Netflix doesn't buy up or produce on their own. Price hikes/limiting of the free tier, global availability issues and other monopolistic creep would probably be the biggest concerns, and if Funimation is going to be the face company, that they have no reason to update their website to something that came from this decade. There was also VRV that was Crunchyroll + stuff, stuff is probably going to go over to HBO Max, and VRV is probably kaput.

Really bad film adaptations? Sony's not the worst company, really, and they're a far sight more consumer friendly than AT&T.
It's official, Tilderinos. The two anime streaming giants have become a titan of epic proportions, and panning the stream will never be the same.
