This is so exciting. Happened not too long after the game director at French Bread (Melty Blood, Under Night In-Birth) inquired about GGPO in response to a long, ongoing clamour about improving networked experiences in their games.
I won't hold onto hope for the games I'm most anticipating next year, but maybe sometime soon after, playing fighting games online won't be so awful.
