    This is awesome. A fairly simple solution that anybody could get up and running. There have been similar kill switches with bluetooth and whatnot, but a physical trigger is so much better.

    The annoyance of having to use this system (and have one of my USB ports more or less permanently occupied) makes it not seem worth the protection offered in the unlikely (and almost cartoonishly...

    The annoyance of having to use this system (and have one of my USB ports more or less permanently occupied) makes it not seem worth the protection offered in the unlikely (and almost cartoonishly bizarre) scenario painted in the intro.

    The simplicity and ingenuity on display here sure is entertaining though.

      I imagine almost no one requires this level of security, but I suppose if you are in R&D at an important corporation and feel the need to perform your work in a public cafe on your work computeter...

      I imagine almost no one requires this level of security, but I suppose if you are in R&D at an important corporation and feel the need to perform your work in a public cafe on your work computeter with your corporate VPN logged in then this is the solution for you.
