My brain works by flinging me mercilessly between melancholic introspection and this larger-than-life kind of self-regard. Which is basically how I learn everything. I think "well I am technically the smartest man on Earth, if they can, its easy for me!". Then I try it a few times never making the thing I thought I would be able to make to the level I expected - if I am totally lucky this is the time when melancholic introspection hits and suddenly I am pushed in to investigating the parts I don't know and trying to learn them from the ground up in absolute terror that I am in fact, the worst person on earth and I need to prove I'm not.
