This makes me want to play around with lua to embed it in something. The main places I've used lua where in Garry's mod with the wiremod plugin I think. And in minecraft with computercraft.

I embedded it in a university graphics project I was doing back in ‘05. It was incredibly easy to do, you should try it!

Granted. World of Warcraft and Roblox exemplify what the author said about Lua acting as a auxiliary scripting language to a system.
