    I would take this article with a very, very, very large grain of salt. GNOME has been one of the worst organizations I have ever tried to contribute code towards.

    In a lot of cases, it really boils down to that the developers don't see themselves as part of an overall Linux ecosystem, and this article unintentionally reflects that (to their detriment).

    As much as the lead engineer for Pop seems like a bit of a jerk (why are they letting this guy be the face of their company? someone get him off twitter...) I think the airing of dirty laundry...

    As much as the lead engineer for Pop seems like a bit of a jerk (why are they letting this guy be the face of their company? someone get him off twitter...) I think the airing of dirty laundry like this is almost never a good idea and never results in a constructive outcome. You're also always only getting one side of the story, so no one really takes it at face value anyways.
