My personal pet peeve for undiscoverable actions is absolutely anything that requires you to shake the device. It’s nothing you would do intuitively (these things are expensive!), it’s not something that you do with objects routinely unless you play maracas, and it’s also kind of vague to figure out what constitutes the shake it wants. A gentle one up and down? A violent shakedown? A quick swipe in one direction? Does the direction I shake make a difference?

And to make things worse it usually triggers when you don’t expect it, and you won’t know that shaking it caused the action to happen, so you will always wonder how you are supposed to use that action on purpose.
