    Overall, it's a story about them trying to get one/two last slaughterfests in before being outlawed entirely. However, I found the image of this quote amusing:

    "I can confirm that we plan to go out to sea this summer. The whales are waiting for us", Kristjan Loftsson, the head of the Hvalur whaling company, told AFP.

    He of course means "There are whales we can hunt out there" but I read it as a bunch of whales waiting in the shadows with various improvised weapons ready to shank the whalers.
