      That only works to get them south, doesn't help on the trip back north in fall, for that you need to plant nectar plants like asters or goldenrod as well. It probably won't work anyway as The CO2...

      2. It probably won't work anyway as The CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is now so high that milkweed is becoming too bitter for monarch larvae to tolerate.

        Are those also dwindling? Certainly worth doing as well if so.

          Not so sure about asters, but goldenrod is often seen as a weed despite not being one (not that weeds are bad in the first place).
