Considering one of the projects blocked or delayed was a coal export terminal, this isn't about reducing reliance on foreign energy (in fact, blocking a coal export terminal technically keeps that coal in the country and makes it more likely it will be consumed domestically...), this is about corporate profits. If the GOP can point to specific examples of the bill causing actual harm, I'll change my tune.
