    Remarkable to see it explained this way. I fear too many will latch on to "a couple degrees warmer" and miss the part about the increase in freakish weather events. Also, now might be a good time...

        With zero evidence to back it up my immediate guess is Cascadia or Alaska, though they may be too far north. The real trick is finding somewhere today that won't be destroyed fifty years from now....

        The real trick is finding somewhere today that won't be destroyed fifty years from now. Alaska is a little too close to the Russians, Arctic Circle has a little too much permafrost...

        The Great Lakes region seems to be a popular spot for those who frequent /r/collapse but I have not looked into why.

        Personally, I'll probably just continue to shrivel up and dry out in the up and coming Texas desert.
