    I'm very impressed that a newspaper in the UK is covering something as small as a tarantula migration over here in the western US. I live in Colorado and it's about a 3.5 hour drive to the plains...

    I'm very impressed that a newspaper in the UK is covering something as small as a tarantula migration over here in the western US. I live in Colorado and it's about a 3.5 hour drive to the plains southeast of Denver where a lot of the tarantulas come out. You can see them on road as you drive between towns. Then you pull over and walk around and invariably find three or four in the vicinity.

    I didn't know they were basically blind. That explains why they don't really seem to care that much about humans walking around them. You can even put your hand down across their path and they'll just walk right over it. They're so wonderfully soft!

      Like the article says at the bottom, it's because she was posting photos of the tarantulas on her Instagram last week. I wouldn't be surprised if her doing that was actually what brought the...

      Like the article says at the bottom, it's because she was posting photos of the tarantulas on her Instagram last week. I wouldn't be surprised if her doing that was actually what brought the writer's attention to it, and was the reason that this article ended up being written.

      I'm probably in the minority, but I'm frankly much less likely to click on any news article that includes the word 'Kardashian' in it.
