    I think this is the warmest winter in Siberia that I'd witnessed so far. It's been strolling around −5°C ever since December. There were a couple of weeks of −20°C and three appropriately-cold days at −30°C, and that's it.

    It's −2°C now, and the snow is slowly melting.
