The only questionably bright spot is that the pricy shoreline properties at risk of crumbling into the water are owned by very wealthy people. "Soaking the rich" is about to get literal if they don't pitch in on climate change.
In my area of Florida I would believe 100% that it was a wetter year than normal. Felt like a full month of constant rain that flooded out many fields and yards and even some streets. Surprising...
