According to the Australian calendar, the season of Summer officially ends on the last day of February. Everyone goes around saying "Summer is over! So sad!" - even as the warm weather continues for a few more weeks, until the equinox, which is when Autumn really starts.
But, in the past 5-10 years, even that isn't true any more. The warm weather just keeps going on and on, through the end of March and into the beginning of April.
