    I wouldn’t really say it’s solving the problem it’s just burying it far enough underground that it’s not harming anything. The way to properly solve this would be to recharge the reaction of the spent reactor fuel rods or dispose of them in a way that doesn’t require us to bury them and look the other way. Either way, I’m not a nuclear physicist, so I’m not sure either option is possible.
