Communities or hubs for people doing/making things and tackling problems

So I browse Tildes, Hacker News, and Reddit, but I'm wondering if there are online communities or hubs out there where entrepreneurial folks discuss actionable business problems and projects, instead of news or memes.

I notice that people will spend endless time online discussing the minutiae of their personal lives, celebrity lives, politics, and son, which are fine. But I want to read about how people are working out the kinks of drone delivery, improving access to and availability of mental healthcare, making municipal permitting more streamlined, and other processes.

The Hackaday blog is a decent general "maker" forum, but it's not particularly practical.

Oddly Linkedin can be a good jumping off point if you're looking for a broader umbrella (i.e. climate tech, mental healthcare, drone delivery). Once you identify key players it's easier to find out where they hang out and they will often post links to the groups they belong to. My partner works in drone delivery development and she found her connection in through general aerospace (she is ex-NASA). I'm in the climate tech space and while I know many of the players already, I'm always blown away by the spaces I didn't know about that pop up on linkedin. Slack and Discord host a lot of the community discussion, but finding those channels will often be the most difficult part.

If you have specific examples of what you're interested in, I'm sure a few of us could also point you in the right direction.
