      God I swear people are so stupid sometimes. A promise is not a legal document. A company that wants to make money is not going to invest in your infrastructure out of the "goodness of their hearts". They are going to contribute the absolute minimum they possibly can that will ensure them they aren't run out of town with pitchforks. Even then, executives might choose to be run out of town sometime in the future if they can make money now, because it wont be them running the company by the time the reckoning comes.

      This is why states and municipalities should never give tax breaks to try to bring over companies. They are wasteful and ineffective.

      Logistics is a infrastructure-intensive industry. That's pretty obvious. Then this town threw out any money they would have made from the company coming in. Once I read that, I knew where the article was going.
