I'm editorializing the title, but this is a solid video, as somebody who doesn't normally watch MatPat videos. I legitimately became aware of this video because of /r/dankmemes, and checked to see if it was real and wound up finding it interesting. I was aware of how the phenomenon spread, but not of the origins of NyQuil Chicken.

It's about the real story beyond NyQuil chicken as obviously humorous videos and the dangers this reality presents: Nobody's really cooking it, but it's driving the news cycle to a degree by providing a sensationalist story by removing the original context. I didn't really follow the issue that closely beyond "Here goes another meme made reality by the news cycle" but it's an interesting video in that he explores where NyQuil Chicken came from, and the problems with the current state of reporting on it.

I thought it was a solid explanation of the phenomenon, for anybody not previously aware of past iterations such as modern Satanic Panic, Blue Whale, Momo, the Tide Pods challenge, and probably many others.
