    I have yet to try any of the microwave mug recipes I've seen floating around. I cook a lot from scratch for our main meals but a fast/easy lunch (without dirty pots/pans and heating up the kitchen...

    I have yet to try any of the microwave mug recipes I've seen floating around. I cook a lot from scratch for our main meals but a fast/easy lunch (without dirty pots/pans and heating up the kitchen during hot summer months) is appealing.

    Do any of you have experience with these and if so, what do you find works and what does not?

      I've only ever tried microwaved cakes, which are okay. Texture is the biggest issue. Taste is otherwise fine. For meats and veggies, I've had friends microwave meals that have turned out pretty...

      I've only ever tried microwaved cakes, which are okay. Texture is the biggest issue. Taste is otherwise fine.

      For meats and veggies, I've had friends microwave meals that have turned out pretty good. They use a silicone tray though, not a mug.
