Yeah, I don't think any of the stuff on the Gourmet Makes series is really meant to be made by people at home despite them providing a recipe at the end. IMO it's more about seeing just how difficult replicating the processed foods we take for granted is, even when attempted by a talented chef like Claire, and appreciating her efforts when she actually manages to pull it off successfully.
