I'm glad to see the mention of adequate text size as a relevant step for considering a game adequate for the platform. Non-adjustable tiny text is a problem on consoles, specially for those who rely on subtitles, which are often so comically minuscule that I wonder if anyone devoted any attention to it. That is a nuisance for many players, specially but not limited to those with impaired vision.

This is an issue I have on the Switch. The text in"Fire Emblem: Three Houses" is so tiny that I pretty much have to play with a dock and TV or monitor. And because it's a heavily story-driven game and a context-heavy TRPG, there's a lot of reading, looking at stats, and moving through menus. I noticed the something similar with "Octopath Traveler" recently.
Which sucks, because I enjoy handheld consoles because I can curl up in bed or on the couch and just play.
So yeah, that's great that Valve is looking at stuff like this. What good is having a handheld device if you can't see what you're looking at? I'm getting older, but I ain't old yet.
Titles are being steadily tested leading up to the upcoming launch (and presumably past it as well). As of right now, we're at 373 verified, 280 playable, and 319 unsupported. Also, Valve just...

Also, Valve just pushed Proton 7.0-1 to Steam, which is their first big update since November. I haven't had a chance to test it out, but I'm excited to. I feel like they've probably made a ton of progress in preparation for the Steam Deck landing.
Yup! Got the 512GB reservation 37 minutes after it opened. Also listed for Q2. I’m trying to manage my expectations for it, but I’m getting more and more excited as the weeks go by.

Do you have one on reserve? I reserved a 256GB one about 17 minutes after it opened, I'm in Q2. Excited for it!
