    This is exciting. I'm a Q2 recipient, having reserved in the first ~25min. I think this is only the second time I've early adopted, so we'll see how it goes. At least since this is a reservation...

    This is exciting. I'm a Q2 recipient, having reserved in the first ~25min. I think this is only the second time I've early adopted, so we'll see how it goes. At least since this is a reservation system, instead of pre-order, if the reviews are middling or worse, people can opt to back out.

      On the subject of people backing out I'll be interested to see if the queue accelerates at all with people forgetting or not budgeting the cash they'll need or just having changed their minds....

        I've put off a couple bigger ticket purchases I was planning. But only after someone reminded me about the Steam Deck. I'd totally forgotten that I had this $650 purchase hanging out there.

      This is my thought process as well and one reason I'm happy that I'm in the "after Q2" group. Should be a good amount of time for reviews and early hardware issues to be revealed and determine if...

      At least since this is a reservation system, instead of pre-order, if the reviews are middling or worse, people can opt to back out.
