I honestly don’t know how I feel about a direct sequel to a Remedy game (having purposefully ignored all of the Max Payne sequels). Honestly one of the things I liked the most about their output was the great amount of variety they put into their games. Sure they all have relatively familiar gameplay, but I really liked that each of their games felt like different worlds to explore, each with their own sense of character.

On the other hand, Control was a tour de force and the multiverse-like nature of the setting makes it the perfect springboard into all kinds of crazy stories. If there was one Remedy to get a direct sequel, there isn’t really a better option.
