    Question for those who play KH more than I do - can you really just play KH1, 2, and 3 and not get totally lost? I already felt lost at the start of KH2, having not played a bunch of 3DS games...

    I already felt lost at the start of KH2, having not played a bunch of 3DS games that are also apparently canon. Now there are mountains of games I'm most likely not going to play before KH3.

      No. The portable games are still critical to the story. You could watch on Youtube, or play them in the HD collection.

          I mean it's all in one game (the HD collection) so it is pretty accessible.

      If you do the 1.5 and 2.5 HD remixes, and hell grab 2.8 too, you get either playable copies of the mobile games or a video/story to fill in the gaps as well.
