Gelb was the fella alleged to have slapped other men’s testicles, dry humped co-workers, and farted in faces.

Any one of those actions should have been reason enough for immediate, on-the-spot firing. If you can do all that and you are "punished" with a 2 month vacation, what does an exec need to do to get fired from Riot?

I don't know if executives getting lighter punishments than the rest is necessarily exclusive to Riot. It seems like a common problem nowadays.

If any of us got a reputation for engaging in this sort of behavior at work, we'd be unemployable. This asshole should suffer the same fate.

Is this actually "real action"? Two months without pay isn't going to mean much to top-level management of one of the most lucrative companies in gaming at the moment. He's the kind of person who had to be told you shouldn't be ball-tapping your employees, so I have to question how effective "training" is going to be.
