What games do you have on your Steam wishlist that haven't come out yet?
What upcoming game are you looking forward to so much that they're already on your Steam wishlist?
Mine are:
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
Away: The Survival Series
Children of Morta
Morning Star
Noita
Space Haven
What The Golf?
Quite a lot, actually. Mostly indies. The older I get (I'm 30), the more indie my tastes become. Nowadays, I seem to prefer story-heavy single player games that are on the shorter side (<8 hours). If there is any online multiplayer, especially in an FPS, there is a 99% chance I have no interest in it, which coincidentally eliminates most AAA games these days.
Anyway, of the 56 games currently in my wishlist, 23 are not out yet:
Oh wow. These are gold! I just added the majority of these to my wishlist.
What are some of your favorite games like these that have come out?
Thanks! Here are some of the more memorable games I've played this year, in no particular order. Ranging from simple point-and-click games to 3D action-adventures, what they all share is a good story :)
Thanks.
I've had this one on my wishlist for a while but I haven't gotten it yet, so I can't speak to how good it is. But it might be right up your alley.

Looks very interesting. Wishlisted, thanks!
You probably already know this, but they're working on a VA-11 HALL-A sequel, N1RV ANN-A.
Indeed and I'm looking forward to it :)
This list is amazing, thanks!
Definitely looking forward to In The Valley of Gods.
First Valve game in a long time (ignoring Artifact), and it looks pretty great too.
I choose to not count it as a Valve game, since they've only bought the studio (Campo Santo, of Firewatch fame) when the game was already in development. If these people ever get to make another game, then I'll count that for Valve :)
I disagree. Left 4 Dead was also acquired by Valve, does that make it any less a Valve game? I don't think it does.
Have you seen manifold garden? It looks really good and similar to some of the games you list
Never heard of it before, looks very interesting. Thanks!
Same here! I made some time this holiday season to play Warband and remind me why I'm still happy to wait for Bannerlord.
I have Crying Suns because it's another space roguelike, and Untitled Goose Game because I want to be an asshole goose.
I knew about the Goose Game. I showed it to my girlfriend a while back and she fell in love with it. I want to play it too. I didn't realize it had a Steam page.
Just N1RV ANN-A and Risk of Rain 2.
Ashen hasn't released on Steam and probably won't until a year after it's reveal for the Epic Launcher, but I'm not giving up on a multiplayer clone of the Dark Souls games.
I've learnt that it is best to ignore the hype train for upcoming games and instead focus on enjoying the games I have or that come recommended to me.
That I said I am tepidly waiting to see what becomes of Age of Empires 4.
Among Trees
Might turn out to be another bog-standard wilderness survival game, but it looks so pretty.
Just one game, INFINITE. I found it while browsing games with both Online Co-Op and Full Controller Support and it looked interesting. Anything with those categories I'll try out, always down to find more stuff I can play with my bud. My current setup doesn't let me use KB+M comfortably so controller support is a must.
Don't think its in my wishlist yet, but I am looking forward to 'In the Valley of Gods' by Campo Santo.

;)
Definitely Phoenix Point, it has a lot of potential.
Satisfactory: https://www.satisfactorygame.com/
Astroneer: https://astroneer.space/ (Played it in Early Access, comes out January)
Subnautica: Below Zero (Expansion): https://unknownworlds.com/subnautica/subnautica-zero-revealed/
I'm looking forward to Satisfactory and I just found out that it's been removed from Steam and is moving to be exclusive on the Epic store for at least 12 months.

I saw one of my items on my wishlist had been replaced with a "Removed" placeholder, but wasn't sure what game it was.
