I haven't looked through the sale much yet, but The Witcher 3 (and the GOTY edition) is at a historical low for Steam, matching a 70% discount that's only previously come up on GOG.

And it's honestly a fucking fantastic game. It gets compared to Portal a lot for marrying puzzle and interesting lore, although to me it's a lot more than Portal. The puzzles are fun but the lore is just so hugely interesting… how an AI started playing God, and all the world building around it. The voice logs had me in tears towards the end.

The Talos Principle was one of my favorite games from the last few years. I picked up the VR version recently on another sale and am looking forward to replaying it in VR at some point. The VR version is actually even cheaper than the non-VR one, since it includes the Road to Gehenna DLC (which I really enjoyed and I thought had some interesting thoughts about online communities).

It's a really fun party game where you play as a level designer, competing with the other players to create a level where you can get through, but others will get trapped. I can't really do it justice with words, so I recommend watching a bit of the video I linked.
Highly recommended if you're looking for coop party games, it's a ton of fun.
