I'm excited. I loved Hollow Knight, and I'm really looking forward to more in the same world from Team Cherry.

I'm extremely excited for this. Looks amazing, even more so than the wonderful first game. The combat looks incredibly fluid, as to be expected I suppose.

I was really impressed by everything about Hollow Knight except the combat, so I never took the plunge and bought it myself. This looks like it's fixed my only gripe, so I'm definitely looking out...

        Certainly not for everyone though

Scoped the trailer earlier - it seems like it will be another home run. I'm so backlogged on games though, hope I can wrap them all up before this drops.

I also really liked that while the bosses were difficult, I didn't need to research how to deal with them; after fighting them enough times the game taught me how to deal with them.

I agree that tight controls are everything for platformers. There's nothing worse than feeling like you're being limited by the controls. That's what was frustrating when I played Celeste. I had to get my mind to adapt to the game (eg. the dash mecanic that you can only do either forward or diagonaly) and not the other way around.

That coupled with well crafted level design is what makes Hollow Knight a great game. I hope with this sequel we get an even better experience. I would like to see a more diversity in how you approach each encounter with enemies.

Oh man I am so hyped for this. I can't believe they made it a full game instead of just a DLC. Hollow Knight is still the best game I played since it came out.
