The Happy Hob officially put a wrap on the entire Soulsborne series yesterday, just in time for Sekiro's release
@the_happy_hob:
We Did It!!!!! All 5 Soulsborne games back to back, No hits taken. Just in time for Sekiro. #destinyrun @sekirothegame @DarkSoulsGame
Final moments of the run.
This is completely insane. If he got hit in any of the games, he restarted all of them from the beginning. Does anyone know what the length of the full run ended up being?
Here's the Twitch VOD, clocking in at 14 and a half hours.
He did it all in one sitting. I think the whole thing took around 12 hours, done in following order: Bloodborne -> Darks Souls 2 -> Dark Souls -> Demon's Souls -> Dark Souls 3.
I saw somewhere that it took 28hours with a pause halfway through. Might be wrong though.
Saw the clips several times already and still get goosebumps every time. Even though I didn't follow him personally I could feel the all the emotions after he completed the run, and it filled me with joy even though I'm not personally in the know with the Soulsborne series. I can't even begin to imagine how much dedication you need to accomplish this.
And clearly the devs felt the same way, since even they acknowledged his accomplishment.
Another runner finished a similar no-hit run today. His was Dark Souls 2, all bosses. That might sound less impressive but DS2 has a lot of bosses.
