    This is pretty amazing, the difference in Pilotwings is insane. I took a screenshot from the comparison video embedded at the bottom of the article, being able to see the score values and rings...

    Now they look like they are made with GZDoom engine, amazing improvement over source material! That makes this emulator better than the official ones like Switch's classics or 3DS virtual console...

    Kinda funny their image captions mention FZero's background becoming more readable. On the framecompare link it's immediately obvious that absolutely nothing about the background changes. But...

But until I stumbled on that framecompare link I totally thought I could see the pixels being slightly more evenly laid out in the HD screenshot.

      Don't look at the pixels on the horizon, look at the ones just to the right of the track. There's a huge difference.

        Oh the caption was referring to that background. When I read the word background I just stared right at the horizon until I saw something that wasn't there lol.
