it's really funny how achieving your goals leads to crunch time, and so does not achieving your goals. you might as well just make it a part of the fucking job, at that point--although i suppose then you'd actually have to fairly pay employees and give them benefits and what not when, just in general, not exploiting the shit out of your employees seems to be just a bit much to ask for a lot of video game companies.
I hope the developers got their share of the gobs of money this game has accrued
Is that typical? My guess would be that they (the people crunching) generally do not, but I've never worked in the game industry.
