Steam now allows you to mark games as owned on another platform, so they will stop appearing in your store but will be used to recommend similar games to you

    Damn, people are screaming about Epic but you have to recognize that it seems to have put some competition back in the game. Maybe after more features and a redesign I could see myself using Steam again.

    This not only more convenient for users, but it's good for Valve, too. They can stop recommending games people won't buy because they already have them and they get market data about what games...

      It's also excellent competitive data. Which games sell better on other platforms, poorer on steam etc.
