This is interesting though, they keep showing more and more stuff that indicates that they've gone pretty far beyond "remake". There are entirely new summons in here (Carbuncle wasn't in FF7 originally), new characters with types of quests the original didn't have, and so on. Hopefully it all works well, but I think it would have been far safer for them to just stick with remaking things that were present in the original.
In the context of a battle - with all the SFX - Carbuncle looks fine. That profile picture is just... bad. And hopefully an angle you never see in the game.
