You can think that, buddy, but I returned the game because of the truly abominable voice acting and character animation. You would have been better served by text and an entirely unmoving face.

Acting quality seems to be very subjective, and prone to being judged by its worst performance, and it’s something players love to criticize—so I don’t think the criticism we got is actionable or worth considering.

Outside of that did you think the game was worth playing? I've had the game on my wishlist for a while but keep reading mixed things about it.

I’ve not played it, but I’m thinking about buying it just to support the company. The game industry is rife with stories of overworked and burned out employees, and I’m tired of reading the dismissive, whiny opinions of entitled consumers who want everything to be AAA+ all the time. This guy is living his dream in a garbage industry and should be encouraged, mistakes and all.

I literally couldn't get past it. The mouth animation was a single slit in their face opening and closing, poorly mapped to the the voice. The creator says that they let the voice actors "self direct", which just means there was no attempt to get a coherent sound out of them all.

Watch some video to see if it's a deal breaker for you. I couldn't take it.
