This is cool. The Contra and Castlevania games have been available in collections on Steam since last year, but I think this is the first digital distribution of the older Metal Gear games. They got PC ports but it was decades ago and physical only. The last time Metal Gear was released for PC was 30 years ago.

I recently replayed Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation Classic and was impressed at how well it held up overall, despite some rough edges. I never did play Metal Gear Solid 2 though, so I'll definitely end up getting it at some point.
