I found this interesting and hilarious. This new Chromecast releasing without Stadia support reads like two product teams aren't supporting each other. When two Google things don't work with each other, and one of them is a video game platform they're trying to build up to compete with an entrenched competitor like Microsoft, it looks like Stadia is losing support internally. This just makes all the skeptics (myself included) look justified in not trusting Google to give Stadia enough time or attention to grow.
I feel really bad for anybody buying games on Stadia. At some point, Google will probably kill the project. Any games you bought on it will just vanish. At least with PC game downloads, you could...

At least with PC game downloads, you could download a crack and keep playing your game. But when a streamed game gets taken down, it is literally gone forever with no possible recourse. That is why for me at least, Stadia is a total non-starter.

That seems quite sloppy. Google would do well to share some details so people don't lose confidence in the platform.
