    The "raw gold" feature feels to me like an unnecessary complication. I thought being unable to use Fortune on gold and iron made them more unique. Weird how the more features get added, the more I miss the "old" Minecraft.

    But I do like the goats. Hopefully they're not just another panda/parrot/polar bear.

      I think Minecraft is in a stage where Microsoft just wants enough changes to keep people engaged. The game is more-or-less complete and could be left in its current state as a final version. That said, I think the world generation revamp is justifiable and I look forward to it.

      Having Minecraft's final version would be great for the modding and custom server communities - no more breaking changes.

    I was looking forward to a play through on all the new features so it's a shame to see it delayed but then again I'm glad we're seeing a games company who are willing to delay for the right...
