I'm quite excited for this. I'm very conflicted on watching NV. They are an org that I've loved the players of in different games and want to support but the org itself is garbage I feel bad doing so. It'll be interesting to see how Crazy Raccoons do as well since they did pretty well at Berlin in comparison to what was expected. I'm also keeping my eyes on VS. I think CR and VS could really surprise people. I don't have great logic as to why, I just got that feeling from watching them play. End of the day it doesn't matter cus NV is going to take it all home ;))

Unrelated and just me teasing: I'd have posted this under ~sports not ~games :P

Oh, God, no. It'd probably end up triggering that annoying "is Chess a sport" type debate all over again. ;)

Which is why I would have done it. Just to watch the world burn >:) lol jkjk while I disagree I don't really care if people don't think esports are sports.

"Yeah, but it doesn't involve physical exertion and abilities, therefor it's not really a SPORT!" /s

WHOOOOOOO BOY OH BOY HAS IT BEEN A TOURNAMENT ALRIGHT. I sure hate the tournament, but I'm sure that's totally unrelated to both teams I was rooting for and thought could win the tournament (or at least make a deep run) got eliminated in groups :P no totally unrelated to that. But seriously, while I have really been enjoying the tournament, everything around Vivo Keyd has really left a sour taste in my mouth with the Valorant/eSports community. Especially Richard Lewis but certainly not limited to him. It really sucks that Riot officials didn't catch and say something to Vivo during the series. Holy shit if they had managed to come back from 0-7 and win that would have been absolutely insane.

Here's to rooting for KRU to win it all. Though now that I've started hoping they'll do well they must be cursed.

What about you all? Thoughts on the tournament so far? How are your favorite teams doing?

well, Kru got eliminated too ;) The last map was absolutely crazy, holy smokes, 5 overtimes, I feel bad for KRU I hope they win something next year<3. The tournament was fun except for the silly drama. A lot of upsets, 2 teams from southeast asia on quarters what more can you ask?
