P.S. In addition to this, the two major supermarket chains have reduced their trading hours. They're now only open from 8:00am to 8:00pm (plus the "community hour" starting at 7:00am). Many stores were previously open from 6:00am to 10:00pm or midnight, and some were even open 24 hours a day. The extra closing time will supposedly be used for cleaning and re-stocking the store.

Stop and Shop is doing the same thing as well (don't know the quality of the source here, I learned of stop and shop doing this bc I shop there and they have a sign posted on the doors).
