I'm curious how the US is going to look at this stage. China, and Asia in general, have very different was of behaving than we do here, so while I hope for much of the same response as we're seeing in Wuhan, where people are slowly getting their bearings in a post-pandemic world, it also doesn't say much about how the rest of the world will handle re-opening. Even New York and Los Angeles are different enough that we'll all be navigating this in our own separate groups.

I don't think there will be much full-on agoraphobia overall (but probably some), but I think there will absolutely be a general feeling of distrust and nervousness towards other people that will linger for a long time. Every other person we interact with is a potential danger right now, and it's going to be hard to get past that.

And with good reason at least. I can't imagine being germophobic before the pandemic, and now having to deal with this. Yikes. Ugh. I anticipate a high number of people with mild post-covid...

Ugh. I anticipate a high number of people with mild post-covid anxiety making "hahaha that's just my Covid-OCD" jokes about cleaning things for the next year. 🙄
