      Right. I posted about it at the time it came out, but the near-full testing on one of the cruise ships showed about 46% asymptomatic at test time, and 18% of cases never developed symptoms. These...

      Right. I posted about it at the time it came out, but the near-full testing on one of the cruise ships showed about 46% asymptomatic at test time, and 18% of cases never developed symptoms.

      These kind of numbers are just quite important and worrisome because in most countries we're only testing people who are obviously sick, but these special "test everyone" situations are making it clear that you really can't depend on whether you have symptoms to determine if you're infected or not.

        It’s also heartening, though, because it can mean that we are closer to herd immunity than we realize. I think that’s somewhat cold comfort but it is something.
