Doctors are trying to find answers as quickly as they can. They have to follow up any lead that seems promising.

It's becoming a bit ridiculous how we are tying just about every condition to COVID-19 right now.

I think it's also worth considering that as more people are staying indoors, there's also less opportunity to absorb sunlight and naturally produce vitamin D.

I had the thought earlier today that one of my friends recently had a baby, which they are most certainly keeping indoors for nearly the full extent of quarantine, could potentially lead to immunity issues later in life. It's already proven that growing up with a pet boosts the immune system and lowers allergies. Lack of exposure to the outside could also have a similar effect.

Given the number of people who are lacking in proper exercise and vitamin D, I wonder if it won't have a knock on effect of increased hospitalizations in a second wave.
