Sigh. I hate seeing all these people end up being defiant Trump voters.

I'll be very non-specific, but I work in the same industry (but a different position) in their west-coast resort. I made the cut, but I'm also racked with survivor's guilt, I know a lot of people who are better at my job than me who didn't make it and have more bills. I know people who are doing other jobs now, as restaurants reopen (they're all closed again), or taking on seasonal work where they can grab it.
The employees I've seen talking about it have a wide range of opinions. A lot of the younger workers are more or less okay with not reopening until it's safe, and the older people insist that we need to re-open, they need to go back to work. Both are right, we need to all survive so we can re-open everything and get the economy back on track. We need to get out of the house, because this homebody stuff is even starting to get to me a bit.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I've done a good job of being happy to not be working, but I guess this article struck the right nerve with me.
