    I feel like I'm missing something... They Danish parliament ordered the mink culled and then didn't have a plan for disposal after burial with intent to just figure it out later? Or was burial...

    They Danish parliament ordered the mink culled and then didn't have a plan for disposal after burial with intent to just figure it out later? Or was burial then endgame and instead something come down the pipeline to say "hey, you can't just leave them buried?"

      The government assessed that they didn't have the capacity to get them burned right away and then buried them. Now it has become a pollution problem because of the decomposition affecting the groundwater and surrounding areas they were buried. Not a whole lot of good calls were made in this mess.

        As much as it wasn't handled ideally it seems like the better choice than leaving them all alive and getting more covid
