Do appreciate the contextualization of Omicron against Delta & the original coronavirus. I wonder if Omicron's relative inability in vitro to infect lung tissue is why so far we're seeing less hospitalization and death associated with previous variants?
I think it’s plausible but it might not turn out that way. There are enough differences between countries that one place’s experiences might not apply to a different one. Here’s an example.
