    I live in Philadelphia, and let me tell you, this tax is debated. It's highly inconsistent... not only does it not tax any milk based item (so, for example, chocolate milk), it targets any soft...

    I live in Philadelphia, and let me tell you, this tax is debated. It's highly inconsistent... not only does it not tax any milk based item (so, for example, chocolate milk), it targets any soft beverage other than milk and water... like diet soda, which is guaranteed not to have sugar in it.

    In the end, the only thing it caused us to do is shop outside the city.
